Tattva
Art without labels.
Tattva is V-Excel's annual inclusive art exhibition — a professional platform where neurodiverse artists and artists with disabilities can have their work seen, valued and appreciated on its artistic merit.
First held in October 2022, Tattva takes place each year, typically during the last weekend of October. Artists are nominated by participating schools and organisations, while the selection and valuation of their work are entrusted to independent professionals from the art community.
The artist brings the work.

About Tattva
A space where the art comes first.
Tattva was conceived as a platform where artists with disabilities could present their work in a professional gallery environment, alongside the standards and processes expected of any curated art exhibition.
Each edition is built around a theme. Schools and NGOs are invited to nominate artists and submit their work according to prescribed media and dimensions. Information about the artists and their work is collected as part of the submission process.
V-Excel deliberately remains outside the artistic selection process. Once submissions close, accomplished artists independently review the works and select those that will form the exhibition.
The shortlisted works are professionally valued, framed and displayed at the exhibition venue. Selected pieces are also chosen for auction.
Every artwork sold belongs to the artist, and the proceeds from every sale go directly to the artist.

Creation
Each year introduces a new theme. Artists create and submit work within the prescribed media, formats and dimensions.
Independent Selection
Accomplished artists independently review the submissions and select the works to be exhibited. V-Excel does not participate in the selection.
Professional Valuation
The shortlisted works are assessed by professionals, who determine an appropriate base price for each piece.
Exhibition
Selected works are framed and presented in a professional gallery setting, giving every piece the presentation it deserves.
Sale & Auction
Works are offered for sale, with selected pieces also chosen for auction. Proceeds from every artwork sold go directly to the artist.

Since its first edition in October 2022, Tattva has returned each year with new artists, new perspectives and evolving creative explorations.
2022
The Beginning
The inaugural edition of Tattva established the exhibition as an annual platform for artists nominated by participating schools and organisations.
2023
Growing the Platform
Tattva returned for its second edition, building on the foundations of the inaugural exhibition and bringing another group of artists and their work to the gallery.
2024
The Five Elements
Artists explored the five fundamental elements — earth, water, fire, air and space — through their individual creative perspectives.
2025
Patterns and Abstract Art
The fourth edition invited artists to explore pattern, form, colour and abstraction through their individual creative expression.
2026

The 2026 edition explores five interconnected ideas, offering artists multiple pathways for interpretation and creative expression.

The Art & the Artists
Every work has a voice of its own.
Tattva brings together artists from different organisations, backgrounds and creative practices. Their work encompasses different media, perspectives and ways of interpreting each year's theme.
The works selected for Tattva are not chosen by V-Excel. They earn their place in the exhibition through an independent selection process conducted by accomplished artists.
And once they enter the gallery, we believe they should be encountered in the simplest possible way: as art.
More Than an Exhibition
Art creates the meeting place.
Tattva brings artists, families, schools, NGOs, art professionals and the wider community into the same space.
For participating artists, it offers the experience of seeing their work professionally framed, exhibited, valued and purchased. For visitors, it offers an opportunity to encounter the artist first through what they have created.
Tattva is not about asking people to admire art because an artist has a disability. It is about creating the conditions in which the work can be seen, considered and valued on its own terms.

Schools and NGOs working with neurodiverse artists and artists with disabilities are invited to participate through Tattva's annual call for submissions.
